Physicians: We are accepted by the VT Board of Medicine because we are accredited by AMA (category 1)

CONTINUTING MEDICAL EDUCATION (CME) RULES The general requirement is 30 hours of AMA PRA Category 1TM credit during the period from December 1, 2016 to November 30, 2018.

CEs are not required in Vermont.

Pharmacists: We are accepted by the VT Board of Pharmacy because we are ACPE accredited

Part 3 Continuing Pharmacy Education 3.2 Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) Requirements The licensee must complete a total of 30 CPE hours per renewal period. A minimum of ten hours shall be obtained during participation in live programs (didactic sessions).

10.35 Immunizations (2) A pharmacist or intern must maintain current training in Basic Cardiac Life Support. 3.8 Documentation and Approval Providing documentation of continuing pharmacy education in Board-approved programs may be required to maintain licensure. (a) All ACPE and AMA Category I approved programs and programs approved by pharmacy boards in other states may be approved by this Board.
